INSLAB CONCOURSE HEATING - SUPPLY HHW TO AHU - SUPPLY DHW - HEAT TWO CIVIC POOLS
From a field of 20 solar evacuated tubes, 5 SH500 I Thermal Storage tanks (2,500 litres) capture the heated water with the stored temperature regulated by 10 Bosch 32 natural gas boilers.
The heated water is distributed to the underfloor hydronic heating system. There is a hot supply to the AHU which supplies the facilities air conditioning system. The facilities showers and basins are heated with the supplied hot water, while the civic pools are heated from plate heat exchangers fitted to the storage tanks.
This Central Energy Plant (CEP) is designed to maintain the pool temperatures and conditioned spaces at the specified temperatures, while ensuring the Domestic Hot Water supply and UFH system operate at full demand.

SCOPE OF THE WORK
- 20 arrays of Solar Evacuated Tubes
- 5,500 MJ Natural Gas Boost – Gas boilers Bosch
- 2,500 litres thermal storage
- Inslab hydronic heating system
- Pool heat exchange system
- Pump stations, dual ring main pump, controls
